PET (Petrochemicals)
Jet A-1
A kerosene-based aviation fuel used in turbine engines for aircraft and certain industrial gas turbines. It’s valued for its high energy content, clean combustion, and stability across a wide temperature range.
Diesel
(including EN590 variants)
A middle-distillate fuel used in on- and off-road diesel engines, industrial machinery, and power generation. EN590 denotes a standardized European diesel specification commonly supplied for commercial transport use.
D2 Gas Oil
A distillate fuel oil used in heavy-duty diesel engines, industrial burners, and high-speed turbines. It offers reliable combustion properties for both transportation and stationary power applications.
LNG
(Liquefied Natural Gas)
Natural gas cooled to a liquid state for easier storage and transport. Commonly used as a cleaner-burning energy source for power generation, industrial consumption, and heavy-duty transportation.
LPG
(Liquefied Petroleum Gas)
A mixture of propane and butane stored under pressure as a liquid. Widely used for heating, cooking, industrial fuel, and as a feedstock in petrochemical processes.
Light Cycle Oil
(LCO)
A mid-distillate stream from catalytic cracking units in refineries. Often blended into diesel or used as a feedstock for upgrading to higher-value fuels.
Bitumen / Asphalt
A viscous, heavy petroleum product used primarily in road construction, roofing, and waterproofing applications. Its adhesion and durability make it suitable for paving and industrial coatings.
Fuel Oil
(CST-180, CST-380)
Heavy residual fuels categorized by viscosity (e.g., CST-180, CST-380) used in industrial burners, marine engines, and power plants. Higher viscosity grades are suited for slower-burning applications.
Mazut M100
A heavy residual fuel oil used in large industrial boilers, furnaces, and power generation. Its high energy content and density make it suitable for continuous consumption in large-scale thermal equipment.
Naphtha
A light hydrocarbon blend used as a solvent and as a feedstock in petrochemical production, especially for producing ethylene and other basic chemicals. It also serves as a blending component for gasoline.
Gasoline
A light, volatile fuel for spark-ignited internal combustion engines in automobiles and light-duty vehicles. It’s formulated for efficient performance and controlled combustion.
Petcoke
(Petroleum Coke)
A solid carbonaceous byproduct from oil refining and coking units. Used primarily as a high-carbon fuel in industrial boilers, cement kilns, and aluminum smelters.
Urea
A nitrogen-rich compound widely used as a fertilizer in agriculture and as a reductant in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to lower NOx emissions in diesel exhaust.
Sulphur
An elemental industrial chemical produced from refining sweetening processes. It’s used in sulfuric acid manufacture, fertilizers, and numerous industrial applications.
Base Oil
Refined mineral or synthetic oil serving as the foundation for lubricants and grease formulations. It provides essential viscosity and performance characteristics in engine and industrial lubricants.
Polypropylene
(PP)
A thermoplastic polymer used to manufacture packaging, automotive components, textiles, and molded parts. Its balance of strength, chemical resistance, and versatility makes it widely applied across industries.
Polyethylene
(HDPE, LDPE)
Thermoplastic resins available in high-density (HDPE) and low-density (LDPE) forms. Commonly used in films, containers, piping, and packaging due to their durability and flexibility.
Methanol
A simple alcohol used as a solvent, chemical feedstock, and clean-burning fuel additive. It serves in formaldehyde production and as a hydrogen carrier in energy applications.
Ethanol
An alcohol produced from fermentation or petrochemical processes, used as a fuel oxygenate in gasoline (e.g., E10/E85) and as a solvent or industrial feedstock.
Anhydrous Ammonia
A concentrated ammonia used primarily as a nitrogen fertilizer in agriculture. It’s also employed in industrial refrigeration and as a precursor in chemical synthesis.
